The Pitt News' take on sweary Kerry. They approve, but they don't mention the theory that I have come up with for his sudden bad language.
Everybody remember when Bush got caught calling Adam Clymer an "asshole"? People thought, "hey, he's just a folksy guy like us who doesn't like assholes." Kerry is hoping people will think, "hey, he's just a competent guy who doesn't like it when people fuck up."
Also, maybe his wife is rubbing off on him a little bit.

Just wondering: are we still looking for the guy who sent out all of that Anthrax? Or did we just give up?
Also Osama.
Also Saddam.
Have we brought anyone to justice, as we like to say, since September 11th? Sure, we killed a bunch of people, and interned a bunch of people, and interrogated a bunch of people, but I am beginning to despair that we will ever see anyone actually brought to trial. We caught the guy who the government claimed was responsible for the killing of Daniel Pearl, but there has been no public trial and the government has not presented evidence to the public. I'm inclined to believe that the guy was guilty of something, but I really shouldn't be. All I have to convince me is the word of an administration that is legendary for its lies, lies so prevalent that even I inadvertently linked Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein above.
One begins to worry that in absence of ability to catch the Anthrax guys, Osamas and Saddams of the world, the government will just give us a parade of Saccos and Vanzettis.
